Graduated from one of India's ten best medical schools in 1975. Moved to United Kingdom from 1976 to 1983 to get post-graduate training (residency equivalent) in multiple specialities including Internal Medicine, Geriatrics, Dermatology, Pediatrics, Pulmonology and Gastroenterology.
Came to the USA in 1983 and finished a three year Internal Medicine residency in 1987 at the Prince George Hospital Center in Cheverly, Maryland. Started a solo Internal Medicine practice in Woodbridge, Virginia in 1987. Started his first Urgent Care Clinic in 1994 and has been running multiple, successful Urgent Care Clinics since.
